At Tapnell Farm park we provide fantastic educational experiences for all age groups, based around our animals and the farm.
Our keeper presentations are fun and informative, and are geared to encourage safe, hands-on learning and participation.
In addition, we have outstanding indoor and outdoor play areas to entertain the children like our Straw Bale Adventure Barn, pedal go-karting, soft play zone, climbing wall, zip wires, mini tractors, rope climbing frames and two giant Jumping Pillows.
Teaching staff are welcome to come to the farm prior to their visit free of charge to carry out risk assessments.
You will have full use of our cafe where you can safely leave your coats and packed lunches for the day.
NEW for 2020, we are opening the Island's first outdoor Aqua Park at Tapnell Farm this May - September. This will be located next door to the Farm Park and operate as a separate business. For school pack and prices please email aquapark@tapnellfarm.com
A typical school's day at Tapnell Farm Park
Usually runs from 10am-2pm, activities vary according to season. You can stay later if you wish.
- Meet and greet with our friendly Farm Park Team
- Then onto animal encounters (subject to change), which include
- Donkey Brushing
- Meet our furry friends
- Wallaby feed
- Meerkat talk
- You will then have lunch in the cafe extension
- After lunch it's play time! Enjoy the Farm Park
- Gift shop visit before departure - don't forget pocket money!
