Senjuti – Online Indian Dance Workshops

Senjuti is an accomplished and multi talented artist having trained in multiple dance forms by famous and established exponents of dance. She continues to enjoy a successful career in dance working professionally as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She has also worked as an actor and international presenter.

Online Dance Workshops

Senjuti delivers a range of online dance workshops which can be delivered via Zoom or Teams. She is able to work flexibly with your cohort regardless of whether pupils are in school or are having to study at home. She will set up the online class at a time of your choosing and provide the school with the link so that everyone can participate in the workshop.

Curriculum Links

Her workshops can be linked to any topic within the curriculum – for example RE (Hinduism and Sikhism and associated religious festivals such as Diwali or Holi) or Geography (looking at life in India and Pakistan).

Senjuti’s workshops are adapted for the age and ability of each class to ensure that every child gets the most out of her visit. The day can start with an assembly or end with a sharing to the school and/or parents if time allows. She can work with a class (bubble) at a time and the length of the sessions will be dependent upon the number of classes you would like her to work with over the course of the day.

Dance Training

Senjuti’s dance training started from childhood (at the age of 6 yrs). She teaches a range of Indian dance styles including Bollywood, Bhangra, Classical Indian Dance. She has performed in a number of high profile dance festivals and events including the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank, the Royal Albert Hall, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, and the Indian Embassy in Stolkholm. She also had the distinct pleasure of performing for the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi during last visit to UK (April 2018) along with his highness Prince Charles (Prince of Wales) at the science Museum London.

Dance Teaching Experience

Senjuti runs regular dance classes in London and delivers dance workshops into schools, hospital and community centres across United Kingdom, including special needs schools.
