Education and youth groups of all sizes are welcome at Lee Valley White Water Centre. Whether you’re planning an activity day for your youth group or society, end of term activities or an end of season party for you sports team, we’ve lots of outdoor activities suitable for a range of ages that’s a guaranteed great day out.

Activities include:

White Water Rafting

Your class or group will get a good soaking as they ride the rapids and surf the waves on the same course as the Olympic athletes of London 2012.

Legacy Rafting

 
Enjoy your first experience on the white water rapids with our Legacy Course, a brilliant first time experience for adrenalin seekers!
 

Raft Building

Shipwrecked on a desert island…what three items would your group want? Forget their smart phones, how about planks, barrels and ropes to build your own raft to get you all safely back to dry land.

Water Wipeout

 
Tackle our inflatable obstacle course on our lake and compete against your mates to see who can complete our course in the fastest time. Leaping over obstacles before whizzing down the slide at the end - you are guaranteed to have a splashing time.
 

Explore Kayaking

 
Our Explore Kayaking sessions are fun for the whole group and take place on our crystal clear lake. These fun and relaxed sessions are a great way to paddle with your kids or friends on our lake.
 

Explore SUP

 
Our Explore SUP sessions are fun for everyone! Discover the world of Stand Up Paddle Boarding on our crystal clear lake. These fun and relaxed sessions are a great way to paddle with your kids or friends on our lake.
 

Age Restrictions

Each activity has a minimum age restriction, please check this information before booking.

  • Rodeo Rafting the minimum age is 14 Years
  • White Water Rafting the minimum age is 12 Years
  • Family Rafting the minimum age is 8 Years
  • Hydrospeeding, Hot Dog and Tubing sessions the minimum age is 12 Years
  • For all other activities, participants will need to be a minimum of 8 years of age

Participants under the age of 12 will also need a parent or legal guardian accompanying them on their activity.  

All participants under 18 years of age will need a completed parental consent form to take part in any water based activity on the Legacy Course or the Olympic Course at the centre.
