Laverstoke Park Farm – School Trips & Educational Farm Tours

Laverstoke Park Farm provides the setting for ITV1’s Sugar Free Farm and is spread over 2,500 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside near Overton. It is owned and run by ex-racing driver and Formula One World Champion Jody Scheckter. He wanted to create a farming environment that would follow nature as closely as possible, combining 21st century science, together with the most environmentally friendly farming methods available.

School Trips

The Laverstoke Park Education Centre (LPEC) welcomes educational groups from nursery, primary, secondary and SEN schools, colleges of further education and organisations such as farming groups, caterers, U3A and Scouts. All visits are free of charge.

Our fully qualified Education Officer delivers educational farm tours, hands-on activities and tailored PowerPoint presentations. Students can learn first-hand about farm-related issues such as sustainable land management, farm animal welfare and healthy food production from field to fork.

Your own transport is required for a farm tour; most visit destinations are accessible by car, minibus or coach.

N.B. First time group leaders must attend a pre-visit consultation to see the farm, sign our comprehensive risk assessment and plan a suitable schedule with us.
