Dance Days have been providing educational, interactive and fun dance workshops for schools since 2013, and we visit schools in London and the South East, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. We are continuously recruiting to enable further coverage of the UK.
Our History Dance Workshops:
We aren't time travellers, but we can help bring your history topics to life through dance, maybe something you've not thought about before? We provide a wide range of styles within our History workshops and we can focus on a particular period or provide a mix of dance from the decades.
Some of the historical periods we can provide:

- Great Fire of London
- The Tudors
- The Victorians
- World War 1 & 2 (Lindy Hop)
- Decades Dance (1920's, 30's, 40's through to 1980's)

We inspire, educate, boost confidence and wellbeing through dance and provide a unique experience without breaking the budget. We choose not to have the grand offices and huge sales and admin teams, and we pass those savings back on to you. We want our workshops to be accessible to all without the high price tag.
Many of our dance workshop styles link directly to the school curriculum and enrich your pupil's learning while helping with PE in a none traditional way. We adapt the delivery of our workshops, so they are suitable from Nursery age right through to Secondary School and SEND Schools. With over 30 world styles of dance to choose from we can help with any of your hook days, celebrations and themed events such as Black History Month, Diwali, Chinese New Year and even the Olympics!
We offer a wide selection of dance styles from around the world so that you can pick and choose a different country for each year group; this works well when your school are having a multicultural or international day or week. We also provide creative dance workshops, explore history through dance and increase movement with our dance fit workshop.

During the enquiry stage, we will work with you to build your perfect Dance Day, and typically we can teach a one form entry school within a day, we have several options available if you are a larger school and we will talk you through the options.
We are very proud to have received such great feedback from teachers; this is down to our highly skilled teaching team, all of whom have enhanced DBS checks.
By the end of one of our workshops, your pupils will be dancing back to the classroom and practising their new dance moves in the playground!

The workshop was perfect for our topic looking at different decades. Each workshop was well suited to the age of the children and everyone enjoyed it and had a fantastic time - teachers included! It was particularly good for some of our boys to have a man teaching the dance routines. Some sadly still have the impression that learning to dance is a bit 'girly' - they changed their minds when they saw Darren demonstrating the moves and really enjoyed rising to the challenge!
