The SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline.
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary Education Team can come to your school to deliver a day of high quality, interactive, curriculum-linked workshops for your pupils using unique content developed at the Sanctuary over the past 60 years!
Our team will bring all the equipment needed; you simply need to provide a classroom or school hall, plus members of staff to support group work throughout the workshop. Workshops will be split by Key Stages and your school will have the opportunity to decide which workshop is suitable for each class.
At the end of the session we will leave your school with various resources that you can refer to and use at a later date. This will include a certificate for each participating child.
Group size: Up to 30 students per workshop session.
The workshop would follow an introductory assembly for up to 120 pupils.
Cost: £300 per day.
This includes:
• An introductory assembly for all the students involved in the day
• A facilitated full day of up to 4 workshops aimed at all Key Stages, taught to different classes
• All equipment needed for the workshop
School facilities: We come to your school and can set up in a classroom or the school hall. School staff will be needed to support group work.
Terms and Conditions
* Available to book all year (excluding school holidays)
* Two weeks notice required prior to desired booking date
* Maximum 120 students
* Location must be within 70 miles of the Cornish Seal Sanctuary
* Full education pack resources will be sent out after booking
