About
Sciencedipity runs science workshops and science days for schools and groups in Devon and south west England, and afterschool clubs in Devon.
A unique brand of educational science workshops to support your curriculum run by a Biomedical scientist and qualified teacher.
We have the time, equipment, resources and science background to host a science day or club at your school or community group.
You’ll receive engaging hands-on science activities to enrich your lessons, and enthuse your pupils.
We can run whole school science days, or spend the morning with one class or year group – its entirely up to you!
Workshops are themed around the curriculum covering topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering, including specialist subjects such as Forensic Science and Microbiology or science from literature such as Roald Dahl and Harry Potter. Browse our curriculum linked science workshops here.
At many of our events the children make something to take home, this could be a pot of slime, a vibro-bot or a designer microbe!
We know you’re super-busy, so you can leave the planning and designing to us & we’ll create a day or workshop that will be super fun and educational for your pupils.
