More about this Workshop/Service and the Provider

We offer a variety of packages to suit all budgets and requirements, for schools.

A visit to the wildlife park provides an educational and enjoyable day out for children and young people and helps develop first hand their understanding of and enthusiasm for wildlife conservation. Children get to see a large variety of animals in natural settings.

Our experienced guides ensure the tours all adhere to national curriculum requirements and are able to tailor your tour to any required topic. If you have a special interest that you would like covered, please talk to us before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We have several tour options available for groups:

Gold – Fully guided visit

Experienced members of staff (approximately 1 member of staff to every 15 children) stay with your group throughout your visit and will take you on a conducted tour of the park. The Education Centre will be available for your use, where your group will be able to leave belongings and have lunch if required.

Price

  • £8:50 per child. One supervising adult is admitted free with every five paying children.
  • Additional adults pay the normal admission price £12.50
  • Note: Minimum of 15 children.

Silver – Self-guided visit

On arrival a Guide will welcome you to the New Forest Centre and show you to our study room where you will be given an introductory talk. Comprehensive notes will be provided to support your tour.

  • £7:50 per child. One supervising adult is admitted free with every five paying children.
  • Additional adults pay the normal admission price £12.50

Add an Educational Session

30-minute curriculum-based workshops are available for pre-booked groups.

Other workshops include hedgehog (seasonal) and new this year is a wolf workshop.
