More about this Workshop/Service and the Provider

Drum Runners have run educational interactive music workshops for over 25 years and we support pupils and staff to create their best performance and to work as a team.

Be at the Creative Stage and make music from Junk with the bicycle wheel drums, colourful barrel drums, other unusual percussion plus a hands free flute and audio effects / looping pedals.

All battery powered effects and audio pedals make the workshops sessions ideal for outdoor or indoor learning in a number of workshop formats.

Create a Carnival Event (Geometric Rhythms and Shapes)

Testimonials

We recently hosted an end of Summer event in Parade Gardens, Paul opened the event with our first session of the day and did such an amazing job. The workshop for children took place on the bandstand - Paul interacted with the children to encourage them to join in before session started. Children loved it and the music sounded great from inside and outside the venue. Paul is professional and communication and response time was great running up to the event.
Jennifer Pothercary, Events Officer at Bath City Council

A banging time! We booked Paul to help us celebrate at a big event we threw for Bristol primaries as a reward for achieving the prestigious award of being a green flag Eco-School. Everyone at the event loved the experience of joining in with the drumming and playing an array of funky instruments - even the teachers! It made the evening such fun, helped everyone mingle and I would recommend the opportunity to anyone. Thank you for bringing our party to life!
Clare Marshall, Sustainable Learning in Bristol

Great workshop for Year 5-6 children! Paul ran 5 drumming sessions with 5 Y5/6 classes as part of a feature week at school. The children learnt all about how to recycle materials into instruments and some great songs about recycling! Paul was fantastic with the children, kept a good pace and engaged the pupils from beginning to end. Children are already asking me for another session!
