Crawfordsburn Scout Centre
Crawfordsburn Scout Centre specialises in outdoor pursuits for young people, youth groups, clubs and schools. With over 20 outdoor activities to choose from, a fully serviced campsite, two residential buildings and classroom facilities; Crawfordsburn has something to offer everyone from a fun packed birthday party to a week-long residential experience.
Outdoor Activities
Our activities are designed to ensure maximum participation, by challenging the individual and encouraging teamwork and cooperation. Our team tailors each experience to meet the differing needs of the group. So, whether you’re a fan of heights and wanting to try our 3G Swing, Zip Line or Crate Climb or you’d rather take on the challenge course, caves or beaver adventure trail, Crawfordsburn has an activity for everyone.
Camping
Our campsite is our pride and joy, allowing young people to experience the joys of an open fire and a night under the stars, in a safe environment. Crawfordsburn has two camping fields each serviced with fresh running water and their own toilet and shower blocks. You can sleep your way, be that a tent in the main field, bivvy in a forest or hammocking between the trees. We also have camping pods spotted around the site.
Residential
For those that wish to stay indoors we have two fully equipped residential buildings, designed with youth groups in mind. These buildings are perfect for group whether you wish to take activities with us or not.
