Tudor World museum is a living text book that provide a visually stimulating interpretation of the Tudor World.
The museum provides workshop and tours based on the New Curriculum in a fun, interactive, educational way.

WHAT IS A DAY LIKE?
The day starts at 10am with introductions; workshops and tour of the museum. After lunch (which can be taken in the 'theatre' area), Shakespeare will take the group on a tour of Stratford upon Avon! The day finishes at approximately 3pm.

Key Stage 1/2
As well as our ever popular Tudor Day, we can now offer a dedicated Crime & Punishment Day and Shakespeare's Stratford Day.
All activities have been specially designed for Tudor World. The lesson plans take in the New Curriculum and have been written by Diane Ellis, a Qualified Teacher of 15 years and who is also a teacher trainer and provides training in the New Curriculum. Workshops are devised by Shaun Aspinall, a highly experienced schools pracitioner.
All our staff our CRB/DRB checked and school practitioners or actors in theatre and education.
Option 1) Tudor Day
A carousel of interactive workshops covering the
museum, theatre area and workshop room) on different aspects of the Tudors including artefact handling. The day finishes with a tour of Stratford with ‘significant person’ William Shakespeare.
Option 2) Crime & Punishment Day
A carousel of interactive workshops (covering the
museum, theatre area and workshop room) on different aspects of Crime and Punishment, including artefact handling. The day finishes with a tour of Stratford with ‘significant person’ William Shakespeare.
Option 3) Shakespeare's Stratford Day / Entertainment
A carousel of interactive workshops (covering the
museum, theatre area and workshop room) on different aspects of Entertainment,including drama roleplay. The day finishes with a tour of Stratford with ‘significant person’ William Shakespeare.

What is included in the price?

A full day (10am until approximately 3.00pm )

The first half of the day is on (the historic) site and consists of three workshops. Each workshop is approximately 30 minutes duration

The second half of the day consists of a tour of the historic town of Stratford upon Avon with William Shakespeare—in person! The tour is around 90 minutes in duration (plus toilet stop)

COSTS:
The whole day costs just £8.34 + VAT (£10 per pupil)
Please note that:-
There is a minimum number charge of 20 pupils.
The William Shaklespeare Tour or the workshops can be taken separately as a 'half day'.
We can take up to 60 children in a half day up to 120 on a full day.
We highly recommend you book as soon as possible as dates go very quickly.
