Stronghold Climbing Centre provides an exciting activity for your school trip where students can participate in climbing activities that will improve their physical skills and challenge their mental ability to solve problems and work successfully as part of a team.
We love welcoming young people to Stronghold to enjoy everything climbing has to offer.
Our dedicated children’s area means youngsters can learn the basics and grow in confidence before progressing to the larger walls downstairs.
We are one of the UK’s largest indoor bouldering centres offering hundreds of bouldering problems for climbers of all abilities, London’s largest circuit board and a large, open-plan training area.
For many, a visit to an indoor climbing centre is a child's first introduction to the sport and we believe these early experiences provide the foundations of a healthy and rewarding lifelong passion.
School Weekly Classes
At Stronghold Climbing Centre we offer primary and secondary schools structured weekly classes which help develop their students' coordination and movement skills.
We are able to offer the nationally recognised NIBAS programme to schools and climbing also counts towards the physical section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
We also offer one-off fun taster sessions for primary and secondary schools.
