Owain Glyndŵr Centre & Parliament House
The Owain Glyndŵr Centre is a hub for community, historical and cultural activities. It is located on Machynlleth's main street, Heol Maengwyn. The Centre is run by an enthusiastic committee of volunteers, if you would like to get involved please contact us.
We also welcome school visits during term time. Admission is free unless special arrangements for groups need to be made in advance, any donation towards the Owain Glyndŵr Centre Ltd. charity is much appreciated. All donations are used to maintain the building.
Machynlleth is a fascinating historical town full of great architecture, and of course it was once the capital of Wales. This guided tour includes – the history of Owain Glyndwr, Parliament House and the town of Machynlleth. Most of the walk is on the flat but you will need suitable footwear and clothing for all weathers. The walk is 1:30 hours starting in front of Owain Glyndwr's Parliament House at 9:30 am. Available on Wednesdays or other times by pre-arrangement only.
