Camping in The New Forest
Ideally situated in the heart of The New Forest near Beaulieu Village, our private, dedicated bell tent campsite can sleep groups numbering 10 to 50 people. It’s the perfect base if you’re looking to plan a trip that’s full of adventure. Our campsite is private and secure, meaning that not only can leaders have peace of mind, but they can be sure in the knowledge that their group is safe and having a wonderful time.
Combine accommodation with our range of exciting outdoor activities, or simply pitch your own tents and sleep under the stars. Whatever you decide, our dedicated School & Youth Group Coordinators will work closely with you to help build you a trip to remember.
Accommodation
We offer an array of accommodation options, including full, part or self equipped pitches. Bring your own tents and set up shop, or opt for our spacious bell tents for a wonderful New Forest camping experience.
Bell tents are available on a part, or fully equipped basis and can sleep up to 6 young people per tent. We also have leader tents available with raised camp beds, side table, lantern and fairy lights for a little added luxury.
You really couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting to set up camp. Enjoy the oodles of space to play and stay in, as sheep watch on from the neighbouring fields – it really is idyllic!

Our site comes fully equipped with all the amenities that you’ll need for a New Forest camping trip, including:
- Hot showers and flushing toilets
- Drinking water access point
- Lockbox and safe area for valuables
- Access to shared freezers and fridges

We also have catering tents, with various catering options available from our local New Forest partner. Have packed lunches delivered to site as part of your day trip for only £7 per person, or opt for a fully catered residential, starting from £16 per person, per day.
Campfire
The draw of a hot, crackling fire is hard to resist, and there’s nothing quite like gathering around the campfire at the end of a busy day. It’s a surefire way to get everyone talking about and reflecting on the day’s adventures.
Our campfire space is located just next to our camping area and has adequate seating for any sized group. Whether you’re looking to have a fireside sing-a-long, toast marshmallows over on an open flame, or simply unwind after a busy day, building a campfire is a great way to top off your New Forest camping experience.
Extra fees apply for firewood and lighters.
Activities
Our campsite is positioned centrally amongst all of our activity sites. Minibus transfers are a quick 10-minute return transfer with some even accessible by a 30-minute walk.
Our activities utilise and make the most of our wonderful New Forest location, with both water and land-based options available. Canoe and kayak on the Beaulieu River Nature Reserve, clamber through the trees on our high ropes course, learn a new skill like Bushcraft and Archery, or test your teamwork during a game of BattleZone outdoor laser tag.
There are so many adventures to choose from and what’s more, we can adapt any of our activities to draw out the specific learning outcomes required for your group.
Our activities are all fully licensed by Hampshire County Council and the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). We’ve also been awarded a quality badge from the Council of Learning Outside the Classroom.
