Take the classroom outdoors with our specially designed activity, enrichment and study days. At Lower Grange Farm we provide bespoke multi-activity experiences for schools in a safe and positive learning environment with clear, agreed learning outcomes. Climbing courses for schools and colleges
We cater for all young people regardless of ability or special need and can deliver a range of sessions to suit all abilities and ages. Students who struggle more academically can find the hands-on approach to climbing and structured learning particularly rewarding.
The Courses
Choose from introductory, enrichment session to a structured and progressive qualification. Our instructors can deliver a range of options including a 3-day GCSE intensive course and levels 1 - 4 National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) run on a weekly basis. Climbing group sizes range from 10 to 24 and prices start at £8 per person including all safety equipment. To book email using the form below.
Educational activity days
Adventurous activities are a great way to get students working together, promoting good communication and team work in a fun, safe, environment. We provide a variety of educational days specifically designed for schools and colleges including full and half days of activities and enrichment or revision days which combine classroom study and fun activities.
Our countryside centre, situated in Maidstone, Kent is just minutes from the M20 motorway making it quick and easy to access from across the South East of England.
There are various activity options to choose from: archery, axe throwing, body zorbing, cavebus, climbing, disc golf, geocaching, orienteering, pedal karts, pioneering, rifle shooting, bush craft, shelter building, fire lighting.
Residential Trips
The benefits of adventurous activities for youth groups in a residential setting have long been recognised. The combination of team building, problem solving and the personal challenge of experiencing new physical activities while camping away from home can have a positive and lasting effect on self esteem.
