More about this Workshop/Service and the Provider

Hagg Farm

In the heart of the Peak District between the spectacular Derwent Valley and Kinder Scout, Hagg Farm offers high quality outdoor education and residential visits for schools and groups. Hagg Farm has been a centre of excellence for outdoor education in the Peak District since 1989 and welcomes schools, youth groups, sports clubs, families and groups of friends.

Our nationally qualified outdoor tutors are amongst the most experienced, enthusiastic and capable that you could meet and it is their approach combined with excellent facilities that make a trip to Hagg Farm so memorable.

Programmes can include a range of on-site and off-site activities. Instructor-led activities can include: rock climbing, canoeing, abseiling, caving, mine exploration, stream scrambling, mountain walking, indoor climbing, high-ropes activities and field studies. Other activities can be led by visiting staff including orienteering, geocaching, problem solving and local walks. Our programmes for schools enrich the curriculum by bringing the outdoors to life and help young people achieve their potential by increasing confidence, promoting healthy activity and fun.
