Qualifications we offer

NICAS

National indoor Climbing Awards Scheme; this is a nationally recognised award scheme designed to promote climbing development and accredit individual achievement on artificial structures

It can be used as a starting point for people wishing to take up climbing and mountaineering, the schemes are open to all candidates from 7 upwards

NICAS ranges from levels 1 to 5. Starting from the complete beginner to fully competent climber ready for competitions. The course will motivate young people to participate in physical activity and will increase climbing and movement ability. The use of log books will help measure the development of the candidates.

GCSE PE

We also work with several schools as climbing is one of the sports listed in GCSE PE specification under Identifying and Solving problems to overcome challenges of an adventurous nature. Your students can climb within the curriculum with physical education programmes of study, key stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. Climbing is one of the sports listed in the GCSE PE specification and is based around the NICAS qualification covering all aspects of the spectrum being followed.

We offer Action Walls sessions, One off climbing Sessions, NICAS climbing sessions and one off bouldering sessions.
