SCHOOL TRIPS - LEARNING OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM
Nothing inspires and engages kids more than a school trip outside the classroom. At Challenge Academy we provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop a range of life skills whilst having fun in the great outdoors. We work closely with schools to develop a tailored programme for the day to meet their specific needs.

SCHOOL TRIP ORGANISER'S GUIDE
Choose your focus prior to arrival and we will deliver an engaging programme with a focus on the positive development of teams and individuals. We work with trip organisers to ensure that the whole experience is meaningful, whether for reward, enrichment, social impact or targeted intervention.
ACTIVE OUTDOOR LEARNING
All of our sessions are delivered by experienced teachers, outdoor practitioners and ex-military instructors who are great at helping people of all abilities to conquer their fears and reach new heights. Our aim is to ensure that every student learns something positive about themselves and others; we want everyone to leave at the end of the session feeling empowered and proud.
EXPLORER PROGRAMME
Perfect for the younger adventurers looking to get a taste for challenge. Our sessions are outcome based but can include the following: Obstacle Course, Ground Challenges, Nets Adventure, Team Activities, Woodland Challenge, Forest Skills and Bushcraft –
Recommended Age: 4-7 years
Half-Day Session
£10 plus vat per person based on a minimum of 20 attending.
Full Day Session Cost
£15 plus vat per person. Based on a minimum of 20 attending.
ADVENTURER PROGRAMME
Ideal for older or more confident pupils ready to step outside of their comfort zone. Reward, enrichment and progressive programmes, our engaging sessions can include: Obstacle Course, Climbing Activities, 3m and 9m Aerial Traverse, Ground Challenges, Obstacle Course, Nets Adventure, Powerfan Descender, Team Development, Woodland Challenge, Forest Skills and Bushcraft – For all ages and abilities

£15 plus vat per person based on a minimum of 15 attending.
Full Day Session Cost
£20 plus vat per person based on a minimum of 15 attending.
YOUR PROGRAMME
A more targeted and bespoke programme for groups with specific desired outcomes. These engaging programmes are also ideal when you have smaller numbers. The following activities can be included: Climbing Activities, 3m and 9m Aerial Traverse courses Nets Adventure, Powerfan Descender, Team Development, Woodland Challenge, Forest Skills and Bushcraft.
We work with you to design your programme to best fit your desired outcomes. Programmes can be delivered over 1 session, a full day or a progressive programme over a number of days/sessions. Pricing varies. Ideal for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) programmes where a higher level of facilitation and student ratio is required.
PLEASE NOTE
Minimum age for Nets Adventure is 4. The Ropes course is for all ages from a confident 5 year-old but this is not just for youngsters. Minimum age for the 9m aerial traverses is 7. We ask that adults or older siblings/carers accompany those who are not so confident. Instructors are always there to ensure absolute safety and to help and support.
If you book something and want to do more when you get here then that’s no problem – you can upgrade onsite by buying additional ‘Adventure Tokens’ at £5 per activity.

Thank you to all the staff for a brilliant fun educational day! It gave our pupils with less confidence a chance to shine and our pupils with confidence an extra challenge. The teamwork involved has encouraged our pupils to support each other not only during physical activities but also during class lessons.
