Whether you are a group of friends with children, a religious group or youth club, sports club, School Trip Organiser, a Scouts, Guides, Brownies or Beavers troupe, charity or society, Harbour Park and its surrounding area is the perfect venue for a group day out.

There is plenty of minibus and coach parking, spacious greens for activities, picnic areas and a sandy beach for play and activities. Divide your day out between the beach and the thrills and spills of our rides and attractions for a day trip to remember!

Harbour Park is where the fun never sets, but we are also a business. Students have found a case study morning or afternoon at Harbour Park to be a great way of seeing how their studies are practically applied in the real business world.

Harbour Park has featured on exam papers for leisure and tourism in the past and with materials available we could feature strongly in controlled assessments. Case study days are hosted in conference style, as long as numbers allow, at Harbour Park, and include a presentation by the Operations Director as well as a question and answer session and a tour of the Park, focusing on the challenges faced both by Harbour Park and the attractions industry in general.

The day is focused upon removing students’ blinkers and seeing the industry behind the summer job. With forward planning the day can be tailored to suit a particular module from your curriculum such as Human Resources in Business or Finance in Leisure and Tourism. These sessions cost £5 per student and are subject to a minimum number of attendees.

With busy timetables, risk assessment and transport issues, we realise it can be easier for us to come to you. During term time it is possible for our Operations Director to come to your college or school and deliver workshops or case studies. Again these can be tailored to suit your learning goals for a particular module and still only cost £5 per student. Minimum numbers and drive time limits apply. These visits can be delivered to a much greater number of students thanks to the reduced logistical burden on teachers and staff.
