DISCOVERY ZONE
The Discovery Zone at The Beatles Story provides the ideal educational day out for your primary school.
The Discovery Zone is continually developing resources to aid teachers with changes to the National Curriculum to create a fun and educational experience for all.
Our commitment to life-long learning ensures every visitor has a valuable experience regardless of age or ability.
Children of all ages are invited to experience The Beatles Story Discovery Zone. Learn about the Beatles' lives, times, music and influential legacy using interactive screens, a giant floor piano and sing your favourite Beatles songs on karaoke on our NEW mini Cavern Club stage.
Experience interactive Beatles-themed activities in our Discovery Zone allowing both young and old to learn about the Beatles' music, the times they lived in and their influential legacy in a fun, interactive way confirming The Beatles Story's commitment to life-long learning.
New to 2020, become The Beatles with our very own Cavern Karaoke Stage! Pick from a wide selection of Beatles' songs and put on your very own show on the most famous stage in the world.
Children have the opportunity to compose music on our giant piano, listen to records in the 1960s NEMS record store, create Beatles inspired artwork and discover the story of the Beatles on an interactive timeline.
We've linked the story of The Beatles, their early lives, rise to fame and combined creativity to selected areas of the National Curriculum, including History, English, Art, Music and Geography to actively encourage and involve children in their learning.

Our hands-on, interactive Discovery Zone is designed to stimulate and inspire students, giving them the tools and opportunity to learn and develop their own skills in a creative environment on an individual, small group or class size basis.

We have linked the story of The Beatles, their early lives, fame and combined creativity to selected areas of the National Curriculum: history, literacy, art and music to actively encourage and involve children in their own learning.
Whether your school follows established schemes of work or is working towards a creative approach to the curriculum we can support learners in developing skills in communication and group work, information technology and creative thinking.
