About
The first rule of hoop club is: you tell everyone about hoop club.
Project Hoop provides hoop performances, classes, workshops, private tuition and party packages. We are teaching and performing online, and in person (according to government and organisation guidelines).
RoRo is an established trickster, hoop star, and teacher, she teaches regularly all over the UK and has taught at many conventions and hula hoop events. She runs her own hoop company, is establishing a circus convention, and has featured for the BBC, Notts TV, This Girl Can, and other notable media.
RoRo has performed at events big and small, and likes to showcase a sprinkle of allure and hoop vivacity, with her quick technical tricks, and multi hoop magic.
Workshops and Party packages give you the opportunity to learn and see some very impressive stuff, where guests can be entertained, whilst learning and having fun, all packages are tailored to suit you and your event.
Project Hoops RoRo is a qualified (QTS) teacher who has over 8 years teaching practice and a whole load of hoop experience. Originally self-taught, she have attended a wealth of workshops and conventions, and have been taught by some of the best teachers in the world. We teach all levels of ability, beginners, intermediates and advanced, single or multi hoop; for fitness, circus or dance. All classes and workshops are taught in a supportive, structured environment and instructed by a qualified teacher and trainer. We have SEN based workshops, and workshops for the elderly too.
We have weekly classes in the East Midlands and tour workshops regularly, we have a private lesson space, and teach online sessions via ZOOM.
Hoops are always provided for in person workshops. We also sell polypro and MDPE hoops, apparel and accessories.

After learning purely from YouTube I did my first workshop with RoRo in Jan/Feb and it was amazing!! Nothing beats in person interaction. I have been to three of RoRo’s hoop classes now and I have to say they are brilliant. Obviously given the current world situation the classes are online, via Zoom, and RoRo is skilled at delivering via this format. She has a way to describe tricks verbally and demonstrate them visually that makes them easy to understand and try yourself. Her video and voice are always clear. RoRo keeps the energy and pace going throughout the class, but also finds time to go around each of the class participants to see how they’re doing, and answer any questions. She is fun to be around and to learn from! What a silver lining to coronavirus lockdown! Living in London myself, I may never have attended one of RoRo’s classes otherwise. I’m glad she is online and I can learn new tricks from this great teacher

Great hula hoop workshop today at Polekat Fitness � covered the basics as well as some awesome tricks. Definitely covered more than I thought we would and RoRo has a great approach making everyone feel totally at ease even when you can’t get the hang of something!
