Raising aspirations together
At PGL, we use the outdoors to deliver unforgettable learning experiences for school groups.
Whether you’re looking for an outdoor adventure activity course, an educational tour, a subject focused study course or a school ski trip, we’re experts at delivering the learning outside the classroom experience that’s right for you and your pupils.
All PGL centres have been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge – an achievement we’re proud of, and we continually work with schools, local authorities and academies throughout the UK to ensure our curriculum-based activity courses meet your needs effectively.
About Dalguise
Located five miles north of Dunkeld in a stunning wooded valley, Dalguise is an inspiring place to take your students on a motivational adventure experience. The grounds at Dalguise are full of adventure activities on land and water, designed to bring out the best in your students.
The beautiful surrounding countryside offers hiking opportunities – discover the stunning landscape that once inspired the books of Beatrix Potter when she stayed here in the 19th century! Choose to stay in our comfortable stable block or in one of our cosy wooden lodges on the edge of the forest. All accommodation is en suite and designed for groups like yours.
Curriculum for Excellence
PGL residential adventure courses feature many of the key learning and development outcomes as described in the Health and Wellbeing Principles and Practice in the Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland.
In order to help you correlate the requirements of the CfE you can find the relevant statements from the CfE followed by a description of how the PGL experience meets the learning and development outcomes in our CfE document.
