About
Off the Ground was formed with the aim of producing quality theatre which is accessible to all. We now produce up to ten productions a year, including youth theatre shows, open air-theatre and touring productions. We have an extensive workshop programme which covers everything from Shakespeare to stage combat.
We have managed performance projects in Spain, Greece, Italy and Ireland, devise and perform workshops both here and abroad, run INSET training and work with the NHS.
Off the Ground Theatre believes in giving as many people as possible the opportunity to partake in theatre. All our tours operate a strong youth policy which means employing young professionals and, in some cases, working with professionals and amateurs. We aim to provide training to those who wish to expand their skill-base, employment to those embarking on a career, and a fine evening's entertainment to those who want a night out!
Education/Workshop Programmes
Off the Ground offers a wide range of workshops for all age and ability groups. We are also happy to design individual workshops to suit the particular needs of one group. All programmes of study are designed by practising theatre professionals in conjunction with teaching staff, and are delivered by Off the Ground Youth Theatre tutors. We are now also able to offer longer residencies and extra-curricular help. See below for details.

Textual Analysis (Various)
This workshop is ideal for students on GCSE or A-Level (or equivalent) programmes. Off the Ground are able to offer sessions on all texts covered as part of the curriculum at this level. These workshops can be tailored to your specific requirements. Contact us for details.
Please note prices do not include cost of travel, which will be applied to all bookings more than 15 miles from Off the Ground Theatre. All of Off the Ground's tutors are practising theatre professionals. Off the Ground Education design and deliver workshops for schools, theatres, community groups and county drama advisory services.
