Bodhi Tree
Bodhi Tree is the schools educational team at the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green, East London. We are all longstanding Buddhists and experienced teachers who enjoy working (and playing) with children, young people and adults.
Our main teachers are ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order as well as being qualified teachers.
We also teach secular mindfulness in schools as Breathing Space in Schools. See our mindfulness website for more information about mindfulness tasters, insets and training for both children and staff.
What we do
We support the teaching of Religious Education by effectively communicating the spirit as well as the principles and practices of Buddhism to school students. Meeting an experienced Buddhist practitioner at the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green or in your school can deepen knowledge and understanding and make Buddhism come alive.
We also deliver sessions for trainee and qualified Religious Education teachers.

Our resources
Our hosts are experienced Buddhists and experienced teachers of young people. They’re usually ordained in the Triratna Order which is at the heart of a vibrant, contemporary and worldwide movement deeply rooted in the Buddhist tradition.
