What to see and do on a school visit
Kew is the perfect setting for an outdoor classroom. We offer visits for all educational organisations.
To help plan your day, you'll get two planning passes once you have paid for your visit.
You can book a self-led visit, or try an education session with hands-on curriculum-linked activities led by a Kew teacher.
Why not book an education session?
Inspire and engage your pupils with our hands-on sessions run by experienced and enthusiastic Kew teaching staff. We cater for different ages, abilities and learning needs. All sessions are linked to the curriculum.
About our education sessions
Our teachers have a wealth of knowledge and experience. They are fully DBS checked.
Groups and Gardens
Our sessions take place in a variety of different environments across the Gardens and provide students with an excellent opportunity to engage with the natural world.
We teach in small groups of 15 to ensure a high quality of learning.
We can cater for different ages, abilities, learning needs and some languages. Please provide as much information as possible when you book.
Our education sessions timings are fixed and run from 10.30am to 2.20pm (except KS5). We will create an itinerary for you based on the availability of our Kew teachers.
