Chinese New Year is 1 - 17 February 2022.
Join in the colourful celebration of Chinese culture this February. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger.
This workshop brings the traditions of Chinese culture into your school. We offer full or half days, choose from:
Chinese dragon dance
Dragon dances are performed to scare away evil spirits. The dragon symbolises good luck, long life and wisdom. Our professional dancer brings an authentic Chinese dragon costume, fans and parasols. We can work with up to six classes per day and these performances can even be showcased at the end of the school day for everyone to enjoy.
Chinese plate painting
Children decorate their own ceramic plate to commemorate the festival. Our facilitator sets up a mobile studio to work with up to 200 children per day.
