Our specialist equipment and accessible facilities enable classmates to enjoy adventure activities together, regardless of disability, non-disability or age.
Opportunities for Schools & Colleges
Calvert Trust Exmoor works with numerous schools, colleges and other educational establishments across the UK, both specialist and mainstream, and we have developed several programmes for schools to fulfil differing needs. We are also able to tailor our breaks to meet your needs, building a course around a curriculum area or theme that works for you.
A school residential break at Calvert Trust Exmoor allows students of any age, and any and all levels of ability, to overcome challenges, build confidence and enrich their lives through gaining self-esteem and a sense of achievement.

Both before and during your visit we will work with you to build a three, four or seven night course that meets your curriculum objectives for any key stage, allowing your students both to learn teamwork skills and overcome individual challenges.

School & College Residential Activity Breaks
For many students the positive effects of learning outside the classroom in this way are both immediate and long lasting. The Calvert experience promotes physical activity, boosts self-belief, helps with social interaction, and gives pupils and staff a shared point of reference which can help with engagement when back in the classroom.
Whatever your age or ability, a visit to Calvert Trust Exmoor will provide a life changing experience; building self-confidence, developing life skills, making friends and having fun.
The centre is open year round and we welcome schools and colleges to visit for three, four or seven night breaks, and offer your pupils and students a unique opportunity to undertake exciting and challenging outdoor adventure activities in a safe, accessible environment.
After a busy day of activities, groups can access our swimming pool, sensory room, games room and sports hall for continued team-building and socialising.
