Utisiling all aspects of STEAM, these focused practical tasks reley on students imagination, creativity interpretative and visual problem solving skills helping develop their higher order thinking. Working as teams students will require cooperative, linguistic skills and resilience during the investigation, disassembly and evaluation during the design & make assignment.
STEAM workshops;
Art & Architecture Design Days (1, 3 or 5 days)
Art & Sculpture; (120 mins)
Bridges, Maths & Design; (90 - 120 mins)
Habitat & Shelters; (90 - 120 mins)
Mega Maths Sculptures & Structures; (120 mins)
Olympic Sculptures; (90 - 120 mins)
Skyscrapers (90 - 120 mins)
Workshops need to take place in the school dining hall, gym or sports hall. The structures are dismantled as part of the workshop experience, so we are able to be out of dining halls in time for the catering staff to put out tables. Photographs are permitted of the workshops, so please ensure batteries in your cameras are fully charged.
We can design a bespoke workshop to fit in with your school topic. These often become workshops we then offer to other schools, so there is no development fee. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
